Engine rebuilder

Post by rpccc43 » Wed Mar 14, 2018 2:00 pm

Greetings all,

My local engine shop completed the long block rebuild of my CC 431 engine and it's ready to be re-assembled. I took delivery of the block and new components and had originally planned to do it myself but time constraints and lack of knowledge have made that impossible for the foreseeable future. My engine shop says that they wont be able to get to it anytime soon or well into the future. Anybody know of someone in the NE within a days drive of Western NY who could tackle that?

Plan B. Would my rebuilt paragon transmissions (don't know the number off the top of my head) be able to be matched up a factory rebuilt engine of a more recent vintage?
