KLC Engine Questions

Post by sknowlton777 » Wed Sep 13, 2017 10:46 am

Question of K series engine heads. I have a KLC, and one of the spark plug threads is completely stripped. I found a K head for sale. Is there a difference between a K head and a KLC head ? Also - stripped spark plug threads in the head are not fixable, correct ?
Thank you
Scott

I would think it should be repairable. Machine shop should be able to install a "thread" insert.

Completely fixable. I have a kit in my toolbox. Go to a parts store and get one.
