Zenith 263M Float Adjustment

Post by [email protected] » Wed Aug 30, 2023 9:18 am

Attached instructions give me 2 1/64" for the adjustment, but that makes the float look extremely low when in place. My general thought was that they were usually parallel when the carb was inverted, which the adjustment paragraph below would indicate.

Engine acts like its starved of fuel, hard to start and won't run for more than a few seconds at a time, which would tell me not enough fuel, which would mean higher floats I think.

Is my logic wrong?

Taking some downtime for Christmas... looking at this post from Aug...

Not to be pedantic... but are you following the float adjustment procedure EXACTLY?
