Did CC offer a 283 for a 1957 15 ft cav ?

Keeping your powerboat under power is a lot easier with good advice. Post your power systems questions here.

Has it ever been done ? Will a 283 fit in a 15 ft Cav. ? I have two hulls, A completed 57 with a Model A V15-xxx
and a 55 15 ft Cav V15-467 project boat that just needs put back together with a rebuilt Model A 32056 engine. I think it was a Mr. B rebuild. AND a 283/ 350 ready to be rebuilt, all the machine shop work done. Keeping the 57 that the 3rd manifold is rusting out on. would like to put in the V8. trying to decide what to do with 3 engines and two hulls. If someone recasted the manifolds for the 4Cyc it would really help solve my problem.
