Research on 1955 Constellation
Engines offered were 3 WR or 3 WBR. What are these engines, cubic inch and make? Thank you.

The Chris-Craft WB is a Hercules block that was marinized by Chris-Craft. They are 404.3 ci. And produced about 200 HP.

Here is a link to the specs. W's are at the bottom since they are the largest and least common. The R just stands for reduction gear, so don't worry about not finding the R model listed. (I only learned that two weeks ago during a conversation with our President Jim Frechette. Thanks Jim!)

Wow! Thanks Troy for posting that PDF from Classic Boat Connection. I have bits and pieces of information on all of those but this document has it all in one place, and in infinite detail. Amazing!
