Sanding between coats of Interlux wood sealer

Post by jbyers » Sun Jul 17, 2016 11:35 am

I am about to put the first coat of Interlux Interprime wood sealer on my 58 Cavalier today.

Do I have to sand between coats, or is it like some vanishes where you can put another coat on within 24 hours without sanding?

The spec sheet on this is oddly silent on this requirement.

Thanks

Do two coats of sealer without sanding and then a light sand after first coat of varnish.

I do a gentle rub down with "gray" Scotch Bright after the first coat of 1026 just to knock off the lumps.
