CC Porthole Rod Support
I’m looking for a picture or drawing of a small part that is the base for the stand up rod for a Chris Craft Cruiser porthole or where I might find a replacement or to build one if simple. Not the rod hinge or rod secure clip but the separate piece that the rod goes into when extended and keeping the porthole open. I have attached a photo or two. Thanks.

After 1400 views no response. Maybe there is a smaller population of CC cruiser owners with a porthole than I thought. A friend was able to provide a picture of the rod support. See attachments. A small item that doesn’t get noticed I guess. I will make one out of some 1|2 inch steel pipe.

Re: CC Porthole Rod Support
Glad to see one. Mine sits precariously in a notch on the edge of the wood. I wondered what was supposed to be there. I think that it was removed because it looks like it might cause some interference when clambering in and out of the hatch.
Boats are to be made of wood, otherwise, God would have grown fiberglass trees.

Mine also sits in a little notch. Maybe that is how they came?
