What is the correct burgee design and color for my 1948 Sportsman 18?

Welcome Les, to the Boat Buzz. In the Essential guide the photo is what I assume is one of the earlier model which has the straight style burgee with the postwar script. From what I understand the runabouts had red burgees and the cruisers were blue.
