1964 Prop Shaft Stuffing Box

I have completely restored my 1964 CC Super Sport and am installing engine, prop shaft, stuffing box and shaft strut. The stuffing box has a number stamped on it... 6899 or 6689... depending how you look at it. The shaft strut has number 7007 stamped on it. I tried to locate a rubber gasket for these, but cannot find anything.
1. Does someone know a source for a suitable gasket for these?
2. If not, what is best alternative... Sikaflex, Boatlife, or 3M 4200?

I think any of those would work. Just try not to get too much in the shaft opening. Clean up any excess before it cures.
