I have tried repeatedly to get some info from them on one of their Ivalites. The only way to contact them is via email, so I did, a few times, but apparently Rip Van Winkle doesn't check his email too often. I'm tempted to just buy the d*mn thing, but I wanted to ask you first... any experience with this outfit?

Matt,

I have tried for days to reach that number, no answer but I have left messages. There's nothing indicating that the message machine is the correct one, so now I’m wondering if that phone number you posted is correct. I still can't see where you found it in the first place.

I'll take a look at that, thanks very much for the link, but "answered the call from the site”? Does that mean you found his number on “the site”? Where?

Just looked on eBay for the light you posted about... it's not an Ivalite, which is what I need for my boat because that's what came on it as far as I can tell.

Thanks, though, Matt. I will keep trying the number you posted and will just assume it is the correct number. I’ll also search all of Michigan phone records for the name you posted.

Ive tried in the past to get ahold of them also...I would just move on to another parts guy, there are no shortage of them. One man or not...its either a business or not.

..have you given Hundley down in Texas a call?

Interesting man to talk to this Byron Hundles. He will answer the phone and reply promptly if you leave a message. Google Hundley Chris Craft to find his site listing tons of Chris Craft parts. Great guy to converse with. Hope you don't have tender ears. He's one of a lost era still around.

Sorry about the typing error> Byron Hundley not Hundles. He'd laugh at that one.

I have also been waiting on a reply to emails, phone calls to Stuart McDowell for 4-5 days. If he contacts me I'll ask him about others trying to get in touch with him. Maybe he'll respond to some of us.Course he's in Minnesota and I am in Alabama where it's 80 degrees during the day this week.Maybe he's iced up.

Byron is great to deal with, if it hard to find or just small and odd, he is a great source.

The drawer front on the drawer under the dinette was cracked so I gave Byron a call and gave him the year and model of my boat and he said, ya I got a few of them around.

No problem getting just the front in great shape for a great price.

I tried contacting seas the bay a year or so ago, and go NADA. I never called back... if he doesn't answer his emails or phone calls, no point in buying anything, he probably wouldn't send it.

Not sure who the guy is but ALOT of his manuals, brochures, and even web graphics look VERY familier if you know what I mean.
