2013 Lake Hartwell show

Post by jim g » Mon Apr 15, 2013 5:06 pm

This was the 20th year for our show we had about 40 boats and the water on saturday was smooth as glass and Miss America performed as usual. I had never ridden in Miss America when the water was flat. What a ride. Enjoy the video.

Thanks for the video! Imagine what she would be like with her original full size engines.

Our water is not flat as glass, it is as cold as ice, but in a few more months...

Thanks for the comments. It was a spur of the moment idea. Amazing what you can film with your kids ipod. My arm got tired of holding it up.

In the video the first look at the tach is about 4000 rpm which is about 50 mph. The second look at the tach is wide open about 6400 rpm which is between 80 to 82 mph.
