Catalina Groups

Hi All!
We have a '79 Catalina 280 with 350 ski magnum engine, bought in '07. Want to inform other Cat owners that there is a recently started Catalina Club (less than a year old) very similiar to this forum (catalinaclub.com). This is an off shoot of the Catalina Forum club that was part of Boat US. That group was very large, very active with over 190 forum pages and solutions for just about every problem you can imagine. Boat US decided some months ago that if you didn't belong to Boat US, you could not post to the Catalina Forum. The Forum literaly died overnight and that's when the Catalina Club was started.

Can't have too much help or info. about these boats. I named our 280 CC RIDER, The name of an old blue's song who's lyrics ran "My home's on the water, don't live on the land no more.

Hi Chris Craft owners, LPX Chris Craft parts moved from Bradenton FL to the great white north and are out of the office for several weeks. I am looking for the Life Line Stanchion Base. I was told that LPX had made a replacement in Stainless? Anyone know where I might find them for a 1975 Chris DC Catalina? Thanks Charlie [email protected]
