Zenith carb

Post by trebot » Sat Sep 15, 2018 5:38 am

Have a KL in '56 Continental. Pulling motor for rebuild and want to also rebuild carb. I've never had motor running (bought her figuring motor was bad, I was right). I don't know what model the carb is. Any help appreciated before I buy the wrong carb rebuild kit

I would post a photo, also with carb numbers. Even if it says the KL comes with a certain carb, yours could be others. Stuff like this was changed all the time. Call Dave VanNess and VanNess Engeneering, he sells the kits and will help you diagnose which kit you need.

The carb number to identify what you have is stamped on a round tag on the carb.
Boats are to be made of wood, otherwise, God would have grown fiberglass trees.
