I'm in search a caster recommendation for my 20 foot model 100 which sits on a wooden cradle. This will be rolled on concrete during the restoration.
Thanks.

I have four 6" inch swivel casters that you can have for shipping expenses. The only downside is that none of the wheels has a brake so if you lean aggressively on the boat the cradle might move. I am sure you could rig up some tiny wheel chocks. These are not steel wheels but are some sort of hard rubber. I took a picture but can not seem to post it.

Re: Casters for boat cradle
For our 20' Continental I used 6" casters also, but 8" casters with brakes would have been better. It was a bit hard to maneuver until I took the engine out. Now it moves very easily. The advice I've always heard is to go bigger on the caster size than you think you'll need.

I used the inflatable ones from Harbor Freight. I went over grass too and they worked great.
I used four for a 17 footer. Maybe use six for yours. I second the chocks.

Jim I have a complete galvanized cradle i had under my 20 Holiday. It is what you would see in a showroom. Fully adjustible and brakes down very easily for transport. You are welcome to it-i no longer use it. I am in Grosse Pointe south of Vernier East of Mack. Shoot me a message if you would like it.
