It is with great sadness as I write this, one of the best men in this hobby, Joe Kabot, passed away today at his home in Algonac.

Joe was a legend, a great American, and a personal mentor and close friend of mine, this Club, and to so many others.

You will be missed, Joe.

Brian, I heard this earlier today. Very sad. Joe was a great and wonderfully interesting man.

He was a fantastic guy who was selfless when it came to helping others in the hobby.

Joe was indeed a real gentleman and both an inspiration and fount of knowledge and help, particularly when it came to Chris Craft information.
