Sail Boat
From ClassicBoatWiki
A sailboat or sailing boat is a boat propelled partly or entirely by sails. The term covers a variety of boats, larger than small vessels such as sailboards and smaller than sailing ships, but distinctions in size are not strictly defined and what constitutes a sailing ship, sailboat, or a smaller vessel (such as a sailboard) varies by region and culture.
Chris-Craft's first venture into sail boats was a very small step. It was a sailboat conversion kit, sold as an optional accessory for the 8-foot Pram.
Soon after the sale of Chris-Craft by Smith family members to National Automotive Fibers Incorporated (NAFI) in 1960, the new Chris-Craft Industries, Inc., announced the formation of the Sailboat Division in 1962.
