There are 3 starter solenoid posts. Assuming the 'big' one gets the battery cable, what do 'S' and 'R' posts get?
Ready to attempt a start after 5 years if we get this one.

Accelerator cable bracket '59 Ski Utiity
We're attempting to determine what holds the carburetor's outer accelerator cable in place on the 4 barrel small block V8 in order for the inner cable to slide. Does anyone have a photo of the setup?

Cooling sytem pattern from water pump to engine
Does anyone have photos of the routing of the water pipes for a 283 in a '59 Ski Utility or similar setup? Also the routing of the loooong mechanical tachometer cable for the instrument to the drive gear on the top of the 283. Still reassembling... THANKS!

Accessories installataon on our Ski Utilituy
Now that Jim G & jph have helped solve the mystery of the engine mounts positioning for our ’59 Ski Utility AND the engine is now installed (photo), the task of accessories installation begins. The original generator/water pump combo has been bolted on but I need help in two critical areas: 1. I bel...

Engine Mounts '59 Ski Utility
I remain baffled about the correct installation of the pictured motor mount parts for our ’59 Ski Utility with 350 V8 (was a 327). Although it is apparent that not all these parts are to be installed (they were all in 'the box)', I don’t know which are correct or where they go. (front/rear). ANY gui...

Re: Engine Mounts Ski Utility (another attempt)
Thank you, Mark. I was not aware of that. Although I don't recall removing them 5 years ago, these (photo) are all the mounts I discovered when undertaking the project again. Have I selected the correct 6 mount parts? Do you recognize the others? Bob

Engine Mounts Ski Utility (another attempt)
Having been 5 years since the tired 327 was removed, I am uncertain about the configuration of the motor mounts installation for our new small block 350. Attached are photos of my temporary best guess based on the holes and impressions made by the mounts previously. Any insights are certain to be he...

Engine Mounts Ski Utility
Having removed our '59 Ski Utility's tired 327 five years ago, I am in the process of installing a new replacement 350 but I am uncertain about the proper installation of the motor mounts. Judging from the impressions on and holes in the wooden mounts, the temporary configuration I have pictured her...

Thanks. I'll simply leave the shorter mounts off and install the longer ones pictured. I still cannot figure out where they came from.

Re: Short block (350) installation in our '59 Ski Utility
They definitely did not come off of the exhaust hoses although I'd happily use them for that purpose. I will measure them. I understand what you are saying about earlier style mounts. What I don't get is why I have two each of the long and the short. There is nowhere they could have come from except...

Preview: Re: Short block (350) installation in our '59 Ski Utility Mystery mounts.JPG Terrific help guys, thanks. Re: Short block (350) installation in our '59 Ski Utility
Thanks, John, good advice. How the long mounts attach to the transmission end of the engine is apparent, however, I still do not know how or where the triangular metal blue mounts attach to the boat or to the engine. Might there be a source of photos of this installation?

Short block (350) installation in our '59 Ski Utility
Since removing the old 350 and converting the new one to marine, I've lost sight of some of the installation procedures. I believe I have all of the parts but cannot figure how the four mounts attach to the engine and then the engine to the boat runners. I've attached 4 photos of its current state. ...
