Nope, no need for seawater if there is ethanol in the fuel.

Which is why everyone should be running non ethanol in there boats and old cars. Along with fuel treatment at each fill up.

Are you sure you have the right condenser for your distributor? They are not a one size fits all and most parts places are not going to have a listing for yours.

Like everything else.The 60's and 70's gauges were made cheaper. Without the shunt and the correct length of wire. Not only will it not read right but it will also fry the gauge inside.

It can be done either way.

If I remember correctly. Not all of the 39 6 hole panels had the switches on them. Some were mounted on the dash.

Take a measurement from the front mount hole to the first rear mount hole on the stringer. See if it matches up to the mounts you have on your engine. Then you will know which rear mount you need to use. They are not interchangeable with the hole placement.

You don't need to varnish over the decal.

You need to secure the copper lines that went to the oil cooler. If allowed to vibrate they will crack at the fittings. The tubing is a very thin wall copper.
