Looking for original drawings for a cabin hatch lid for a 1956 Chris Craft 27’ Sedan Cruiser with Flying Bridge. See photo center.

Both photos look the same to me. Try the Mariners museum.

My 28 footer has a two piece hatch with a piano hinge. There was like a drip edge gutter thing that runs across where it meets the top of the cabin door. I could get you some pictures if you really need them.

Excellent. Photo would be great. I recall that drip edge on my prior boat a 32’ Connie. I think the hinge and fold over prevented the flying bridge adjustable window sliders from hitting the top. Sorry for the duplicate upload, my mistake. Greatly appreciate it.

I can get you some close up pics and measurements when I get down to the boat.

Assuming that the hatches are the same size. Outside of the opening measures 21” wide x 21” long. The hatch is 22 1/4” wide and 21” long overall. The fwd half is 10 3/8” and the aft section is 10 1/2”. I removed the drip edge because the windshield has settled and caused a clearance problem.

Thanks a bunch Captain. Greatly appreciated. Will be building a new one this winter with your measurements. I was given a drawing of a front view of a hatch. There is a metal rim or drip catcher on the front edge.

Capt Nemo, want to sell the metal strip from your hatch top that you took off that is interfering with your frame?

Sorry, :( I am trying to hang on to as many original parts as I can. I may someday refasten the windshield to gain clearance for the trim piece.
