If this is a new format, I can't say I like it. Too confusing to navigate.

I have been in touch with Troy about the difficulties on the boat buzz. I KNOW he is trying....but I have to agree with the above friends/posters who find the new boat buzz frustrating in the extreme. I managed to navigate the instructions Troy sent me personally...but it was no fun for the cyber feeble minded. Terrible snags and potholes along the way to getting back to the buzz.

I swear I fear we will lose precious member comments because of this....robertpaul is thinking of throwing in the towel...a valuable poster.....we are so few now that fakebook is stealing eyes.....the buzz is critical to club success....hope we can weather the cyber storm.

other comments/suggestions would be interesting?

Troy has a tough job and I would never attempt it....we need to support him while exploring options.

further thoughts:

If you all, like me, access the CCABC Boat Buzz via Matt and Woodyboater.....you miss the stuff on the club home page...best to check both out.

Thanks guys for helping us weather this storm!

We will need your help with specific concerns as to why Boat Buzz is frustrating you. Please send your detailed concerns directly to [email protected].

I know the initial resetting of our passwords is a pain in the a** but once that is completed I am finding that Boat Buzz is working as smoothly as ever before.

Thanks for your support!

Happy Boating! :D

Thanx Troy for all your efforts in getting this all up and running. A very tough job indeed. I am sure there are still some bugs to get out. I was missing my Boat Buzz fix.

A more prominent "New Posts" button and "change password" link would be nice. Also, the post reply link is small and has poor contrast making it hard to see on a small phone screen.

Please send your detailed concerns directly to [email protected].- My inquiry to this address gets bounced back. It looks like it was delivered to an AOL account that rejected it.
I'm having trouble logging using my iPad. It uses the same browser as my iMac (Safari).

maybe I am just not able to catch up? When I hit the BUZZ tab right on the CCABC page.....I don't see any post from November at all.../???
Just old dated stuff?

Also: going to the Buzz that way is not nearly as convenient as going to Woodyboater and view the summaries of the latest post in the side bar for the Buzz. That has changed on their site also in that now the summary of the recent post is longer and more detailed, too detailed, and takes up a lot of space on WB so that some current/recent post of the Buzz are not up.

This is a struggle and we will weather it...but it seems that in my limited way/skill set...every time I think I have it straight I try to use one of the few options....like trading post or whatever....and that effort fails in this new template????

Like Robertpaul....hang in there....

Mark: Do you mean people that you have blocked?

I also just noticed that I can not reply to your post so it quotes you like I used to do.

Went through the re-passwording and such but the problems remain. Pics from my previous posts are gone and I can't select any page other than the one I am on (as in 5 of 5).

Hi Robertpaul:

Can you post a link to the thread that you are having trouble with please.

I went to one of my old threads "Connie Refresh" and see all the old pictures, but was unable to go any further than the first page.

Thanks for keeping us informed!

Troy

I get the same result if I go to the thread and without specifying the last post. The first page comes up, pictures and all, but that is all I can access. Previously I could click on the little boxes that numbered the pages and the site would go directly there, but not any more. Don't know how to post a link but it is called 'Honey, have you finished fixing Elude yet'.
