Pictures of the Gravenhurst Boat Show (ACBS-Toronto)

Fellow Wooden Boat Junkies,
The Antique and Classic Boat Show in Gravenhurst, Ontario this past weekend was terrific. Perfect weather, lots to see and do, and most importantly, many antique woodies.
Although there were few (5 or 6) Chris Crafts , I saw, for the first time, many Canadian built boats like Greavette, Ditchburn, Duke, Minett Shields and a half dozen or so other makers.
Some were reproductions, beautifully built, keeping to the original styles. For the most part, these beauties were faithful restorations.
The neatest thing about this show is the fact that many of the boats come to the show under their own power. We were there early and saw many of them coming in. This show also has live demonstrations of various crafts throughout the day. It was a great thing to hear and see these beautiful boats under way.
Hopefully I can post some of what I saw below.
Keith
