USS Potomac tenders

I was at the boat show in Oakland CA and took these with my phone. Don't know if they are correct to Franklin Delano Roosevelt's Presidential Yacht but their are two that were donated and this one was uncovered. The Admiral pointed out the flag was wrong - two too many stars!

These boats were donated in 2000 by Al Schinnerer and myself. The plaque on the display is incorrect. The uncovered boat is not period correct and used just for display. The one you took pictures of is period correct.

Al supplied the hardware and I restored the boat from photographs. I actually converted it from a utility to a runabout. The boat is not operational.

Marty,

Still looks good after 10 years.
