Generator

Post by srlittin » Tue Dec 16, 2014 10:20 pm

Does anyone have suggestions for a 110 v generator to fit in a 30 ft constellation. Or do I fit a multi voltage refrigerator, as this is the only item requiring this supply.

Thanks in advance.

You should look at the Adler Barbor Cold Machine. I have one in my original ice box, installed by the previous owner, and it has worked great and trouble free for eight years. It's 12 volt and when under way has a raw water cooling option. I also have a Kohler 5 K generator that I never use, also installed by the previous owner. The Cold Machine is a little pricey, but a lot cheaper than a marine generator. A generator is nice, but a lot of maintenance and noisy when running. The Alder Barbor is thermostatically controlled, quiet, and doesn't use a ton of battery power, but to leave it on, you'd need a charging system to maintain your batteries.

Thanks, that's the type of idea that I need.
