Is the Connie prop shaft...
On my '62 Connie, I believe the prop shaft is 1 3/8". Does anyone know if it's only one possible size for that year and model? I found a set of 22 x 23 props for $300 and want to jump on the deal for spares.
Re: Is the Connie prop shaft...
My '58 is 1 3/8" also so I would guess it is common, but may not be the only size.
I think I would either measure them or ask the seller to do so if I could not get to them.

You didn't mention the length. According to the charts I posted at http://www.finewoodboats.com/props.htm if it's over 30 and less than 50 it's 1 3/8" But check the list before buying.

My 30' has 1 1/4" and my 32' has 1 3/8" shafts. My 32 is on the hard now getting new shafts.

Re: Is the Connie prop shaft...
And she's getting good shaft packing, too. And strut bearings, zincs...

Ya, don't forget the zincs. I almost forgot to install them once. She was in the travel lift being lowered into the well when someone asked about them. Ooops! We got them on without loosing any motion; from a work boat under the dangling cruiser (not recommended).
