When I prime my water pump water runs out of a hole in the block behind the water pump below the last freeze plug? I don't see any threads in the hole for a plug , any ideas?

Could be the block drain. The threads are pretty far in the hole.

It's a drain. Try to put a valve in so it does not have to be removed annually.

I had to drill and tap the drain hole to 1/4" pipe thread.
the original hole was 1/8" pipe. it has rusted to the point where the valve wouldn't stay in.
the 1/4" valve works great.
be careful when drilling ,the cylinder wall is very close behind the drain hole.

Thanks guys, the threads were rusted out so I drilled it out to 1/4 NPT and installed a plug for now until I find a nice brass valve. Thanks again for the help.
