Painting bottom of Sea Skiff
I now have an anti-fouling paint on my '60 CC Sea Skiff boat. Is it advisable to use a "top side" paint on the bottom? Boat is in the cool waters of Lake George NY for 3-4 months. I would strip off old fouling paint and prime with Interlux 2000E barrier coat then top coat. Would the "top coat" blister up and peel? Or any other recommendations for a little less maintenance, after all we are not getting any younger.

I would still use an anti-fouling paint. There are some that are good for multiple seasons b/4 you have to recoat.
If your boat is going to live on the trailer when not in use, topside paint on the bottom will work

Boats are to be made of wood, otherwise, God would have grown fiberglass trees.
